Dunwoody High School put the finishes touches on a perfect regular season Friday night by holding off previously unbeaten St. Pius 20-14 to capture the region 5-AAA championship. But on a rainy evening, the Wildcats (10-0) hopes of their first state championship since 1993 may have been washed away. Star tailback
Treavor Scales and blue-chip linebacker Malcolm Mitchell both went down with leg injuries. Both are questionable for next week's first play
off game.
Before going down, Scales ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns, as Dunwoody build a 14-0 first half lead, and never looked back. (Pictures courtesy of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
