Springfield Makes Its Presence Felt on the Diamond

Looking for great entertainment at a great price? Try the diamond - the baseball field that is - at Dunwoody High School on Tuesday night. The Wildcats host St. Pius in a key regional game starting at 5:55 pm. Admission is free.
This is not only your chance to support Dunwoody High School, but two of its star players, who just happen to live in Springfield - senior pitcher/infielder Hudson Randall (left) and senior pitcher/outfielder Adam Jones
(below right). If you didn't know, Hudson is one of the top players in
the state, having accepted a scholarship to the University of Florida. Click on the video link below to watch Hudson slug a home run in a recent game.
Springfield is also represented on the coaching staff by volunteer assistant Scott Berardi, a former catcher at LSU.
