Springfield Neighborhood Association Update; 911 Service

We have a very generous neighborhood! At last check we have approximately 40 neighbors who have paid voluntary dues to the SNA for the up-keep of the front entrance as well as future projects and parties. That total represents more than one-forth of the neighborhood. Hopefully by the time the yearly capital campaign is over, we will be closer to 50 percent. A big thank you to all of you who contributed!!
Among the immediate use of the funds: we have hired a lawn-cutting service and a lawn maintenance service. Hopefully we will be doing some annual planting as well.
At present, we have not scheduled our next meeting. As soon as we do, we will announce a date and place. All members of the neighborhood are invited to join us.

911 Service for Dunwoody
Does the city of Dunwoody need its own 911 service, servering ties with DeKalb County? That question was asked at last night's city council meeting. For more go to http://www.dunwoodynorth.blogspot.com/ and http://www.dunwoodytalk.blogspot.com/. Channel 11 even had a story on the issue last night (click on picture above).
